Salary: ₹20,000 to ₹25,000 per month

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Lathe Machine Operator to join our production team at our Jhotwara, Jaipur plant. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating lathe machines, ensuring precision and efficiency in the production process. You will play a critical role in producing high-quality components and maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lathe Machine Operations:

Set up and operate lathe machines to fabricate metal and other materials.
Select and install cutting tools, attachments, and accessories.

Blueprint Interpretation:

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to determine specifications.

Process Optimization:

Calculate dimensions, tolerances, and other operational parameters such as speed, feed, and depth of cut.
Monitor machine performance and adjust as necessary to optimize output.

Quality Control:

Inspect finished workpieces using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
Ensure workpieces meet required specifications and quality standards.

Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance on lathe machines to ensure functionality.
Troubleshoot and address machine issues to minimize downtime.

Safety and Compliance:

Follow safety protocols and regulations during machine operation.
Identify and mitigate potential hazards in the workplace.

Collaboration:

Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues regarding production requirements and issues.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated on industry advancements and participate in relevant training programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Technical Knowledge:

Comprehensive understanding of lathe machine operations and capabilities.
Familiarity with cutting tools, materials, and machining processes.

Operational Expertise:

Proficiency in setting up and operating lathe machines.
Knowledge of tooling and attachments such as chucks and mandrels.

Safety Awareness:

Strong adherence to workplace safety guidelines and standards.

Measurement Skills:

Ability to use precision measuring instruments for inspections.

Problem-Solving:

Effective troubleshooting and optimization of machine performance.

Physical Abilities:

Manual dexterity and the ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
