Job Description

Performance Monitoring: Track daily power output, inverter efficiency, and plant availability using SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) or remote monitoring software.
Preventive Maintenance: Conduct scheduled checks, thermal imaging (drone thermography) for hot spots, and electrical testing to prevent unexpected equipment failures.
Corrective Repairs: Troubleshoot and fix faults in solar panels, inverters, switchyards, and wiring when breakdowns occur.
Vendor Coordination: Work with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) for warranty claims and specialized parts replacement.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure the site follows electrical safety standards and local grid compliance.

Qualifications Needed

Education: A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering.
Skills: Knowledge of solar PV systems, fault diagnostics, data analysis, and basic computer monitoring tools.
Experience: Ranging from fresh graduates (via Graduate Engineer Trainee programs) to several years of hands-on site experience for senior roles.
