Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team at our Bagru, Jaipur facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating and programming CNC machines, ensuring precision and efficiency in the production of high-quality components. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, safety consciousness, and commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

CNC Machine Setup and Operation:

Set up and operate CNC machines such as mills, lathes, or grinders.
Configure tooling and workholding devices according to specifications.
Load raw materials and manage machine operations to meet production goals.

Programming and Adjustments:

Write, edit, and verify CNC programs using programming languages like G-code and M-code.
Adjust machine parameters and settings to optimize performance.
Collaborate with engineers to implement new programs or modifications.

Blueprint Interpretation:

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
Ensure components meet specifications and tolerances.

Quality Control and Inspection:

Use precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to inspect finished parts.
Perform quality control checks and document findings.
Identify and resolve quality issues promptly.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure proper functioning.
Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues to minimize downtime.
Monitor tool wear and replace tools as needed.

Safety and Compliance:

Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Identify potential hazards and take corrective action.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated on advancements in CNC machining technology and programming techniques.
Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Communication and Collaboration:

Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and team members to meet production targets.
Provide feedback on machine performance and workflow enhancements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Knowledge:

Proficiency in CNC machine operations and systems.
Familiarity with G-code, M-code, and related programming languages.
Knowledge of machine tools and accessories.

Operational Expertise:

Ability to set up and operate CNC equipment.
Understanding of machine parameters, tooling, and work holding devices.

Measurement and Quality Control:

Competence in using precision instruments for inspections.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.

Problem-Solving:

Skilled in troubleshooting machine errors and optimizing performance.

Physical Abilities:

Capability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.

Adaptability and Learning:

Openness to learning new technologies and processes.

Certifications (Preferred):

CNC machining and programming certifications (e.g., Master cam, SolidWorks).
Training in quality control, safety, and machine maintenance.
