Job Description

Here are relevant job responsibilities based on the areas of practice:

GST Registration & Return Filing

  • Assist in GST registration for new clients and amendments to existing registrations
  • Prepare and file monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9)
  • Reconcile GST data with books of accounts and resolve mismatches

Income Tax Return Filing

  • Compile and organize financial data for ITR preparation for individuals, firms, and companies
  • Assist in computing taxable income, deductions, and tax liabilities
  • File income tax returns and respond to basic notices/queries from the IT department

Trademark Application

  • Conduct trademark availability searches before application filing
  • Assist in preparing and filing trademark registration applications with IP India
  • Track application status and assist in responding to examination reports

MCA Compliance

  • Prepare and file annual returns, financial statements, and forms on the MCA21 portal
  • Assist in incorporation of companies/LLPs and related documentation
  • Maintain statutory registers and ensure timely ROC compliance

Accounting & Book-keeping

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions in accounting software (Tally/Zoho/QuickBooks)
  • Prepare bank reconciliation statements and ledger scrutiny
  • Assist in preparation of monthly MIS reports and financial statements

Auditing & Assurance

  • Assist in statutory, internal, and tax audit engagements
  • Collect and verify supporting documents, vouchers, and schedules
  • Draft audit observations and assist in preparation of audit reports under senior supervision.
