Job Title: Production Manager – Modular Furniture

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Production Manager to lead and manage the modular furniture production unit, including modular kitchens, wardrobes, office furniture, and customized interior products. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, leadership abilities, and expertise in managing end-to-end modular manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning & Execution

Plan, schedule, and manage daily production activities for modular furniture.
Allocate manpower, resources, and materials efficiently.
Ensure timely completion and delivery of production orders as per client requirements.

Team Management

Lead and supervise carpenters, machine operators, technicians, and helpers.
Conduct daily briefings and assign responsibilities.
Motivate the team to achieve production targets and maintain discipline.

Technical & Machine Operations

Oversee operations of panel saws, edge banders, CNC/Router machines, hot press, and other woodworking machinery.
Ensure accurate cutting lists, machining, lamination, assembly, and finishing.
Maintain machinery and coordinate for repairs and services.

Quality Control

Ensure high-quality standards at each stage of production.
Check measurements, material usage, hardware fittings, and finishing.
Identify defects and ensure corrective actions.

Material & Inventory Management

Monitor raw materials, hardware, laminates, edge bands, and accessories.
Maintain stock reports and raise purchase requirements when needed.
Reduce wastage and optimize consumption.

Coordination & Communication

Coordinate with the design team for drawings, BOQs, and cutting lists.
Work closely with the site execution team for project timelines.
Provide regular production reports to management.

Safety & Compliance

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized factory environment.
Ensure adherence to company policies and safety standards.

Requirements:

Minimum 3–7 years of experience in Modular Furniture/Modular Kitchen manufacturing.
Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Mechanical/Production Engineering, or related fields.
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Cutting Optimization Software, and modular manufacturing processes.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
