Job Summary:
The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished project that matches the vision of our brand. This role requires a keen eye for detail, creativity, and proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro. The ideal candidate will have experience in video editing and a passion for storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished pieces that align with project goals.
- Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to create engaging video content for various platforms (social media, website, promotional materials).
- Ensure the consistency of brand messaging and visual style across all video content.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Review and incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders to enhance video quality.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video editing and production.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably in an educational or marketing setting.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; experience with other video editing software is a plus (e.g., After Effects, Final Cut Pro).
- Strong understanding of video production processes, including scripting, filming, and post-production.
- Creative mindset with a strong eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field.
- Familiarity with motion graphics and animation.
- Experience in educational content creation.
