Job Title: Video Editor

Job Location: Office Onsite, Jaipur

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Job Timing: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Salary: Depending on experience and skills

Experience Required: 2-4 years of experience in video editing or a related field

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Digital Media, or a related field (preferred)

Age: 22-35 years

Skills Required:

Proficiency in Video Editing Software:

Adobe Premiere Pro
Final Cut Pro
Avid Media Composer

Storytelling & Narrative Structure:

Strong understanding of how to craft a compelling story through editing.
Ability to create a cohesive narrative from raw footage.

Attention to Detail:

Keen eye for detail and ability to focus on long editing sessions.
Ensuring final cuts are free of errors and meet the desired creative vision.

Communication & Collaboration:

Excellent communication skills for working with directors, producers, and other team members.
Ability to incorporate feedback and suggestions into the final product.

Pressure Management:

Ability to work under tight deadlines and in high-pressure environments.
Prioritizing tasks to meet project deadlines effectively.

Visual Effects & Motion Graphics:

Knowledge of visual effects and ability to integrate them seamlessly into the video.
Proficiency in motion graphics to enhance the visual appeal of the content.

Color Correction & Grading:

Understanding of color theory and the ability to correct and grade footage to achieve the desired look.
Experience with software such as DaVinci Resolve.

Audio Editing:

Familiarity with audio editing software like Adobe Audition or Pro Tools.
Ability to sync audio and video, adjust levels, and clean up audio tracks.

Creativity & Problem-Solving:

Ability to think creatively and solve problems as they arise during the editing process.
Innovating and experimenting with new editing techniques.

Organizational Skills:

Managing multiple projects simultaneously, keeping files organized, and maintaining a clear workflow.
Ensuring that all project files are backed up and easily accessible.

Digital Media & File Formats:

Understanding of various digital media formats and file types.
Ensuring that final exports meet the necessary technical specifications for various platforms.

Social Media & Online Video Distribution:

Knowledge of video requirements for different social media platforms.
Optimizing content for online distribution to maximize reach and engagement.

Direction & Feedback:

Ability to take direction from clients or directors and incorporate feedback effectively.
Maintaining a positive attitude while revising and refining content.

Technical Skills:

Strong technical understanding of video editing equipment and software.
Troubleshooting issues that may arise during the editing process.

Specific Skills:

3D Editing: Experience with 3D video editing and rendering.
Animation: Ability to create and integrate animations into video projects.
Color Grading: Expertise in adjusting color tones to enhance the visual appeal of footage.
Sound Design: Crafting and refining the soundscape of a video to match the visual narrative.
Visual Effects: Adding visual effects to footage for a polished and professional look.
Motion Graphics: Creating dynamic motion graphics to elevate video content.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Edit raw footage into polished video content, following the script and storyboard provided.
Integrate visual effects, motion graphics, and animations into video projects.
Conduct color correction and grading to enhance the visual appeal of the footage.
Sync audio and video tracks, perform sound design, and ensure audio quality is top-notch.
Collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals and deliver content that exceeds expectations.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Stay updated with the latest video editing techniques, software, and industry trends.
Optimize video content for various platforms, including social media and online distribution.
Address client or director feedback and make revisions as necessary.
