Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media Strategy & Content Creation
Content Production: Plan, create, and schedule high-quality, engaging content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts, carousels, and stories) tailored to each platform, with a heavy emphasis on short-form video.
Community Management: Engage actively with followers, respond to comments/DMs promptly, and foster an active community around the brand to boost organic reach.
Trend Spotting: Stay ahead of social media trends, viral audio, and algorithm changes to keep our brand relevant and highly visible.
Influencer Outreach: Identify, pitch, and manage relationships with micro-influencers and creators for product seeding and collaborative campaigns.
2. E-Commerce & Marketplace Operations
Store Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of our website (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce) and external marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Etsy, or specialized retail platforms).
Product Listings: Create and optimize high-converting product pages, ensuring accurate titles, SEO-friendly descriptions, high-quality images, and clear pricing.
Inventory & Promotion Coordination: Collaborate with production/inventory teams to manage stock levels and execute online promotional calendars (discounts, bundles, seasonal sales).
Customer Journey Optimization: Continuously monitor and improve the website user experience to reduce friction and minimize cart abandonment.
3. Paid Advertising & Analytics
Ad Campaign Management: Run and optimize paid social ad campaigns (Meta Ads, Google Ads) to drive targeted traffic to our e-commerce platforms.
Data Analysis: Use tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and platform-specific dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Reporting: Deliver weekly and monthly reports on social media engagement, website traffic, conversion rates, and Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), pivoting strategies based on data insights.
Skills & Qualifications
Experience: 2–4 years of proven experience managing social media platforms and e-commerce stores (portfolio or case studies of previous page growth/sales growth preferred).
Technical Tools: Proficient in Shopify (or similar CMS), Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and SEO tools.
Creative Tools: Strong skills in graphic design and mobile video editing tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere/Photoshop).
Copywriting: Excellent written communication skills for writing catchy captions, high-converting ad copy, and engaging product descriptions.
Analytical Mindset: Comfortable working with budgets, calculation of ROAS, conversion metrics, and A/B testing.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Your success in this role will be measured by:
Growth & Engagement: Monthly increase in organic social media followers and engagement rate (likes, shares, saves, comments).
Conversion Rate: Improvement in the e-commerce store's conversion rate and reduction in cart abandonment.
Revenue Metrics: Growth in overall online sales revenue and ad campaign efficiency (ROAS).
