Job Description

  • Patient Care: Provide compassionate and continuous care to admitted patients, ensuring comfort, hygiene, and emotional support.
  • Normal Vaginal Delivery Assistance: Skilled in monitoring labor progress, preparing delivery setup, assisting doctors during delivery, and providing postnatal care to mother and newborn.
  • Catheterization: Competent in performing urinary catheter insertion and care, maintaining aseptic techniques to prevent infection.
  • Ryle’s Tube Insertion: Proficient in inserting and managing nasogastric (Ryle’s) tubes for feeding or gastric decompression.
  • Cesarean Section Assistance: Assist surgeons and anesthetists during C-section procedures, including preparation, intraoperative support, and immediate post-operative care.
  • Ward Management: Oversee patient admission, documentation, medication administration, and coordination with doctors for treatment plans in the Gynaecology ward.
