• Provide comprehensive nursing care to pregnant women during labor, delivery, and postnatal period.
• Monitor maternal vital signs, fetal heart rate, and labor progression accurately.
• Assist obstetricians and midwives during normal and complicated deliveries.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and other prescribed treatments as per doctor’s orders.
• Maintain aseptic techniques, hygiene, and infection control in the labor room.
• Prepare and manage delivery instruments, neonatal resuscitation equipment, and emergency drugs.
• Educate and support mothers and families regarding labor, delivery, breastfeeding, and postnatal care.
• Document maternal and neonatal observations, procedures, and interventions accurately.
