Job Description

Job Summary:

An Industrial Machine Welder is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components of industrial machinery using various welding techniques. They ensure structural integrity and precision in welding projects, working from blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding machines.
Weld and fabricate machine components using appropriate materials and techniques.
Inspect welded surfaces and structures for defects and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Perform grinding, cutting, and finishing of welded parts as needed.
Conduct maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment using welding processes.
Work with other team members, including engineers and fabricators, to complete projects.
Follow safety protocols and regulations, including wearing protective equipment.
Maintain welding tools and machinery to ensure optimal performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proficiency in welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-cored welding.
Experience working with metals like steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong understanding of welding safety practices and procedures.
Physical stamina and ability to work in industrial environments.
Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Welder) is preferred but not always required.

Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Welding certification or vocational training in welding is a plus.
1-3 years of experience in industrial welding, preferably in a manufacturing or construction setting
