The computer operator for our eCommerce business is typically responsible for various tasks that ensure smooth operations. Here are some common tasks he/she might be expected to perform: 1. **Account Maintenance:** - Update website/store content, including product descriptions, images, and prices. - Ensure that the account/product listings are active and functioning properly. 2. **Order Processing:** - Process orders placed by customers. - Coordinate with the warehouse or inventory team to ensure orders are fulfilled. - Update customers on their order status and handle any issues that arise. 3. **Inventory Management:** - Track and manage inventory levels. - Update the inventory database as stock levels change. - Coordinate with suppliers for restocking products. 4. **Customer Support:** - Respond to customer inquiries via email, chat, or phone. - Resolve customer issues related to orders, payments, and shipping. - Provide information about products and services. 5. **Data Entry and Management:** - Enter and update product information in the eCommerce platform. - Maintain accurate records of sales, returns, and inventory. - Generate reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and other metrics. 6. **Payment Processing:** - Monitor and manage payment transactions. - Handle refunds and returns. - Ensure secure processing of credit card and other payment methods. 7. **Marketing Support:** - Assist with the creation and management of online marketing campaigns. - Update and manage promotional content on the website. - Analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and suggest improvements. 8. **Technical Support:** - Troubleshoot technical issues related to the eCommerce platform. - Troubleshoot technical issues related to Computers, Printers, LAN, WiFi etc. 9. **Reporting and Analysis:** - Generate and analyze reports on website traffic, sales, and other key metrics. - Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis. - Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
