Job Description

We are a Jaipur-based supplier of interior materials including MDF boards, laminates, plywood, sheets, and allied products, serving both:

  • B2B clients: interior designers, contractors, dealers
  • B2C customers: homeowners and walk-in retail buyers

? Role Overview

We are hiring a dynamic Sales Manager who can:

  • Build strong industry relationships (B2B)
  • Convert walk-in customers into buyers (B2C)
  • Generate project-based and retail sales
  • Drive consistent revenue growth across both channels

? This is a field + showroom hybrid role


? Key Responsibilities

? 1. B2B Relationship & Project Sales

  • Build and maintain relationships with:
  • Interior designers
  • Architects
  • Contractors & carpenters
  • Generate project-based bulk orders
  • Track ongoing projects and supply requirements
  • Ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships

? 2. B2C Sales (Retail / Walk-in Customers)

  • Attend walk-in customers at showroom
  • Understand requirements (home interiors, furniture, etc.)
  • Recommend suitable materials (laminates, MDF, ply)
  • Convert inquiries into actual sales

? This is where many B2B salespeople fail — you need someone who can sell + explain, not just network.


? 3. Business Development & Market Expansion

  • Add new dealers and retailers
  • Expand into nearby markets
  • Increase brand visibility in local interior ecosystem

? 4. Sales Targets & Collections

  • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets
  • Handle pricing negotiations
  • Ensure timely payment collection (especially B2B credit clients)

? 5. Product Knowledge & Consultation

  • Strong understanding of:
  • MDF boards
  • Laminates (types, finishes, usage)
  • Plywood & sheets
  • Guide both:
  • Professionals (technical discussion)
  • Retail customers (simple explanation)

? Candidate Profile

✅ Must-Have:

  • 3–8 years experience in:
  • Interior materials / plywood / laminates / building materials
  • Experience in both:
  • B2B sales (projects, contractors, dealers)
  • OR willingness to handle B2C customers
  • Strong communication + relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable with:
  • Field visits
  • Showroom handling

⭐ Ideal Candidate:

? Someone who:

  • Has existing network of contractors/designers
  • Can bring projects AND close walk-in customers
  • Understands customer psychology (retail) + negotiation (B2B)
