Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven ERP Sales Manager to lead our sales team in driving the adoption and growth of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the ERP software landscape, a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, and exceptional leadership skills. You will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales plan, managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to close, and building strong, long-lasting relationships with clients. Key Responsibilities
* Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets. Identify new market opportunities, analyze competitor activities, and create a proactive sales pipeline.
* Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of ERP sales professionals. Conduct regular performance reviews, provide ongoing coaching, and foster a collaborative, high-performance sales culture.
* Business Development: Drive new business by identifying and qualifying leads, conducting in-depth needs analysis, and presenting tailored ERP solutions to key decision-makers, including C-level executives.
* Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with potential and existing clients. Act as a trusted advisor, understanding their business challenges and demonstrating how our ERP solution can deliver tangible value and ROI.
* Full Sales Cycle Management: Manage all stages of the sales cycle, from initial contact and discovery to proposal development, contract negotiation, and closing deals.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to generate sales-ready leads and with the technical/implementation teams to ensure a seamless transition from a signed deal to a successful project delivery.
* Reporting & Forecasting: Maintain accurate sales records and activities in the CRM system. Provide regular, detailed sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management.
* Market Intelligence: Stay current with the latest ERP trends, industry developments, and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge and inform product strategy.
Qualifications and Skills
Required:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in B2B software sales, with at least 2-3 years in a sales leadership or management role.
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas, specifically in selling complex, high-value enterprise software like ERP, CRM, or SCM.
* Strong understanding of core business processes such as finance, manufacturing, supply chain, and human resources.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
* Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
* Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
Preferred:
* Master's degree in a relevant field.
* Experience with a specific ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
* Knowledge of specific industries such as manufacturing, retail, or healthcare.
