Job overview :

The Admission Counselor for Fashion Design will play a key role in guiding prospective students through the admissions process for our fashion design programs. This position involves providing detailed information about our programs, evaluating applications, and assisting students in understanding the opportunities available at Fasdes.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Outreach:
Conduct outreach activities to high schools, art schools, and other relevant institutions.
Represent the institution at college fairs, industry events, and fashion-related workshops.
Develop and implement strategies to attract a diverse pool of applicants.
Application Management:
Guide prospective students through the application process, including portfolio submissions, interviews, and entrance exams.
Review and evaluate student applications, ensuring they meet the program’s criteria.
Coordinate and conduct admissions interviews and portfolio reviews.
Student Support:
Provide personalized assistance and counseling to prospective students and their families.
Address inquiries about program details, application requirements, financial aid, and career opportunities.
Offer advice on portfolio preparation and interview techniques.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Art, Education, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience in admissions, recruitment, or counseling, preferably in a higher education or fashion-related environment.
Strong knowledge of fashion design principles and industry trends.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Proficiency in using admissions software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in fashion design or related creative fields.
Familiarity with portfolio review processes and criteria.
Fluency in a second language.
