Responsibilities: 1. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to comprehensively understand project requirements, objectives, and constraints. 2. Innovate and brainstorm design concepts that blend user needs, market trends, usability, aesthetics, and manufacturability. 3. Create intricate sketches, compelling renderings, and prototypes to effectively communicate and visualise design concepts. Utilise advanced CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Creo, Solidworks, etc, to produce precise 3D models and technical drawings, ensuring design accuracy and adherence to specifications. 4. Engage actively in design reviews, offering valuable feedback to colleagues and team members. 5. Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging materials, and technologies, injecting novel ideas into the design process. 6. Collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure seamless translation of designs into viable products meeting technical criteria. 7. Contribute, if applicable, to the evolution of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) designs for digital products. 8. Assist in conducting user research and usability testing, drawing insights to refine and improve designs. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field. 2. 1-2 years of professional experience in industrial design, preferably within the digital solutions or technology sector. 3. Proficiency in advanced CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Creo, Solidworks, etc.
