We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our finance team and contribute to the financial management of our institute. Job Responsibilities Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports in a timely manner. Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to ensure the institute's financial health. Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards and institute policies. Manage GST compliance, including filing GST returns and maintaining GST records. Handle TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) compliance, ensuring accurate deduction and timely payment. Assist in the preparation and filing of income tax returns. Provide support during external audits and collaborate with auditors to provide necessary documentation and information. Requirements and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally) and knowledge of GST regulations. Strong understanding of audit procedures and accounting principles. Familiarity with balance sheet preparation and analysis. Knowledge of TDS regulations and income tax laws. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
