Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) with proven expertise in selling ERP or Accounting software. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, building relationships with clients, and contributing to the growth of the company by identifying and closing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Client Acquisition:
  • Identify potential clients in the target market for ERP/Accounting software solutions.
  • Develop strategies for cold calling, email campaigns, and networking to generate leads.
  • Sales & Business Development:
  • Conduct needs assessments and present tailored ERP/Accounting software solutions to prospects.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and demonstrations of software features.
  • Drive the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  • Market Research & Strategy:
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and competitors.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the product development team for improving offerings.
  • Reporting & Compliance:
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and client communications.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations throughout the sales process.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • 3-7 years of experience in selling ERP or Accounting software solutions.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related fields (MBA preferred).
  • Skills & Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of ERP and Accounting software, including features, benefits, and implementation processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand client needs and craft customized solutions.
  • Proficient in CRM tools and sales management software.
