Assess student learning through continuous assessment, examinations, and coursework. Provide constructive feedback to students and support them in their academic and personal development. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Chemistry curriculum. Participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and school-wide events as required. Stay updated with developments in the field of Chemistry and incorporate relevant advancements into teaching practice. Uphold the values and ethos of the school community, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment. Qualifications and Skills: A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred. Teaching qualification or certification (e.g., B.Ed., M.Ed., PGCE) specializing in Chemistry. Proven experience teaching Chemistry at the secondary or post-secondary level. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively. A commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
