Job Description

Responsibilities :


  1. Checking Financial Vouchers - Check all supporting evidences of all financial vouchers (eg. Sales Invoices, Purchases Invoices, Receipts, Payments, Contra and Journal vouchers etc.) to ensure their correctness in all respects, by checking date, item, rate, quantity, amount, ledgers being debited or credited are correct.


  1. Checking Inventory Vouchers - Check all supporting evidences of all inventory vouchers (eg. Manufacturing Vouchers, Stock Transfers, Stock Journal etc.) to ensure their correctness in all respects, by checking date, item, rate, quantity, amount, stock items being debited or credited are correct.


  1. To ensure that GST and/or TDS has been properly calculated on all the vouchers.


  1. To prepare manual vouchers of the transactions as and when required in the routine work.


  1. To generate E Way bills and E invoices, as and when required.


  1. To properly record the entries in the Tally or any other accounting software correctly, to ensure correct reports are generated through these entries.


  1. To reconcile the accounts with banks, vendors, customers, other parties on a periodic basis as decided by the management. 


  1. To keep a watch on all due dates of various compliances and assist the management to correctly file the required statutory and tax returns on time.


  1. To prepare various reports/ returns as decided by the management from time to time.


  1. To assist in preparation and finalisation of financial statements, reports.


  1. To assist seniors in various accounting projects.


  1. Any other work given by the management .
